Mark Rothko Soundscapes: post factum

Grateful for this positive review of the last Rothko themed performance on Latvijas Radio 3, an excerpt of which you may listen to above in Latvian.

The full program can be heard at the original site here.

Endless Roar is the electroacoustic improvisation project in which I mostly collaborate with Arvydas Kazlauskas. We began working on an audiovisual performance on the theme of Mark Rothko late last summer, which culminated in 3 concerts- At Zemlika Festival in Durbe, Mark Rothko Art Centre in Daugavpils and Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Music Academy in Riga in October.

I'm encouraged by the kind words spoken by the radio hosts, who witnessed to the final concert in Riga. Sometimes when your music falls into the 'experimental' category, you never know what people will say or think about it. So I am very glad there is a desire for more of this format from the view of those who have commented!
